CONSTRUCTION IN FINAL STAGES

17 September 2023

The state-of-the-art water treatment plant and pipeline to Werris Creek and Quirindi is well underway as part of Liverpool Plains Shire Council’s Quipolly Water Project.

Construction is in the final stages of the two-part $34.7M project expected to be completed by the end of December 2023.

Mayor of Liverpool Plains Shire Council, Councillor Doug Hawkins OAM, is pleased with the quality and consistency of the project’s delivery.

“It’s great to see the most important stage of the Quipolly Water Project move forward as planned for this essential infrastructure,” said Mayor Hawkins.

“Council’s project management team have a strong relationship with the project’s contractor and are working well together to ensure that we stick to the construction timeline despite all the challenges that are associated with such a complex project.”
